Painting is a metaphor for life.
I need to show up and work.
Painting demands honesty. I need to be honest about what I am seeing and how I feel about it.
Painting demands patience. When I know something is not right I have to be willing to put the painting aside for awhile and not try to force a solution.
Painting demands humility, acceptance and faith to keep creating without knowing why.
